Come melt with Modern English [1], FREE in the streets of Historic Downtown Melbourne on the Main Stage beginning at 6 PM the iconic UK rock sensation, headlining the Kick-Off Party for The 18th Annual Melbourne Main Street Fall Art Festival on Friday night, September 23rd. With such hits as “I Melt With You” along with 7 studio albums Modern English is a FREE concert you don’t want to miss. This party keeps going until Twelve Thirty with DJ Nick Michael and DJ Andy Hughes rocking out the Side Stage. Seriously, where else would you be?

The Patron’s Party Friday night [3]allows you the chance to be a part of exclusive private showing of original Salvador Dali paintings on sheepskin at Matt’s Casbah at the west end of the Art Festival. The fun doesn’t stop there. Saturday morning, September 24th, brings something for everyone. The juried art show and separate juried craft show consisting of over 150 artists and crafters will be open from 10-6pm Saturday and 10-5pm Sunday. With contemporary and traditional painting, metal & clay sculpture, handcrafted fine jewelry, Florida photography, mixed media innovations, functional & fun craftworks - whatever your artistic tastes may be there will be something for you! The Kid’s Zone, complete with bounce houses, animals, arts and crafts, and so much more will be open for the entire family. At 12 PM the Main Stage opens again with even more FREE concerts to suit the most eclectic of tastes. Just to name a few B-Liminal, Beebs & Her Money Makers, the Mike Pinto Band, along with the Main Stage Headliner The Supervillians. [1] Want to make it a late night, no worries! We’ve got you covered. DJ Jimmy South and DJ Sleazy McQueen will be taking to the Side Stage for a good time lasting until Twelve Thirty. Come at 10 AM and stay until the streets close down at 2am!

Sunday, September 25th, begins again at 10 AM with the art show, Kid’s Zone, and even more food, fun and FREE music. At 12 Noon don’t miss the chance to see Lance-O and Groove Stain for an all-day Reggae Party in the Streets of Downtown . You’ll want to come Friday and stay ‘til Sunday to experience everything the Melbourne Fall Art Festival has to offer.
